My Journey
The Beginning of My Coding Journey
My software development journey began in 2020 during the pandemic. I started with HTML and CSS, and after a month of learning, I moved on to JavaScript. For about a year, I worked extensively with vanilla JavaScript, creating various applications and programs.
Academic Pursuit
While studying Economics at Ankara University, I decided to pursue my passion for programming professionally. I was accepted into a 4-year Computer Engineering program and managed to balance both universities simultaneously. This dual education has given me a unique perspective, combining economic thinking with technical expertise.
Professional Growth
Through self-learning, I've gained experience through internships and freelance work. I've always enjoyed challenging projects, and my pursuit of internships and work opportunities while managing a demanding academic schedule is a testament to my dedication to growth and learning.
Vue Frontend Developer Internship
At Paramount Students (March 2023 - June 2023), I developed user interfaces using Vue.js for various web applications, contributing to the overall improvement of the user experience. I gained hands-on experience with modern interface development processes and tools, participated in regular code reviews to maintain code quality and efficiency, and worked with team members from different nationalities.
Full Stack Developer Internship
At Medyanes360 (August 2024 - October 2024), I participated in the full-stack development process with a large team across several startup projects. I took an active role in product development processes using Next.js, Prisma, MongoDB, and other tools. After proving myself in this position, I was promoted to team leader and later to project manager.
Software Development Project Leader
At Medyanes360, I took responsibility in project implementation processes such as task distribution, team organization, and product realization as a manager. During this time, I continued my software career as a full-stack developer, helping our development teams. Additionally, I developed a management panel application for a Ukraine-based furniture factory that needed urgent completion. This management panel included all functionalities a factory would need, from product supply/production process to store personnel management, logistics tracking of products, invoicing of transactions, and monitoring the company's income-expenses.
What Drives Me
Passion for Challenges
I thrive on challenging projects and continuously push myself to learn and grow. My journey from self-taught developer to dual-degree student reflects my commitment to personal and professional development.
Continuous Learning
My journey from HTML/CSS to full-stack development, while pursuing two degrees, demonstrates my commitment to continuous learning and growth in the tech field.
Diverse Perspective
Combining my background in Economics with Computer Engineering has given me a unique perspective in problem-solving and project development, allowing me to approach challenges with both technical and analytical mindsets.
